Advisory
In recent times, it has been found that malware incidents has increased a lot in India. One such threat is polymorphic malware, which changes its code every time it infects a new device, making it harder to detect and combat. Despite recent progress, the state's current cybersecurity tools are struggling to keep pace with these advanced threats, leaving victims vulnerable. With over Rs 2,900 crore lost to cybercrimes in 2024 alone and only 1,248 out of 20,092 cases detected, immediate attention is required to address this new threat and strengthen security measures.
