How to create a Strong Password
- Length is king: Aim for at least 12-15 characters, but longer is even better The more characters, the harder it is to crack.
- Mix it up: Use a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. This makes it much more difficult for hackers to guess your password using automated tools.
- Think like a phrase: A passphrase is a string of words that are easy for you to remember but difficult for someone else to guess. Use a nonsensical sentence or a combination of unrelated words that have meaning to you.
